Why therapy?

There are many reasons why we might seek therapy. You may be feeling anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed; you might be trying to make sense of past trauma or grieving the loss of someone or a broken relationship. You may feel different, like you don’t quite belong.
My name is Deb, and I believe that counselling can help you find your way and be the change you want to be.
How can I help?
As a psychotherapeutic counsellor and therapist, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I work predominantly online, however, if you live in or around Horsham, West Sussex, I can offer face to face sessions.
I will not tell you what to do: we work together to develop healthier coping strategies, enhance your own self-awareness, and uncover patterns that may be holding you back. By exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, your past experiences, current stresses, and relational issues we can work to empower you to make meaningful changes and improve your mental well-being.

“I found it very helpful meeting over zoom, as I felt most safe and comfortable sharing from my own home, and for anyone that struggles to leave the house or suffers with social anxiety, therapy online is a very useful tool!“
R. Bedfordshire
How does online therapy work, and what are the benefits?
Online therapy works much like in-person therapy but takes place through video calls, phone sessions, or messaging. It offers the same safe, confidential space where you can talk about your thoughts and feelings with a professional, but from the comfort of your own home. This flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into your life and can be especially helpful if you have a busy schedule or find it hard to travel. Just like traditional therapy, online sessions focus on supporting you in exploring your emotions, developing coping strategies, and making positive changes in your life.
Please remember to make sure you have a private space at home where you feel safe and secure and will not be overheard.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are 50 minutes. The number of sessions is entirely up to you, we will review regularly to check in on progress. We can work short term solution focused, or longer term.

- Individuals £45 per session (50 minutes)
- Couples £55 per session (1 hour)
